Dr. Gail DraneDr. Gail Drane, graduated from Southwest Acupuncture College and is licensed as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine in NM, as well as certified by NCCAOM (National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine). Along with her degree from Southwest Acupuncture College, Dr. Drane has a Master of Music Education degree from the University of North Texas, where she specialized in playing the trumpet.

Dr. Drane found her calling as an acupuncturist in the middle of her life, but she feels that this is a great advantage for her clientele as she brings so many life experiences to her treatments.

In 1999, Dr. Drane and her family (spouse and 12-year old daughter at the time), left Houston, TX on their sailboat to explore the Caribbean Islands. The experiences in this 6 year adventure can never be duplicated and gave Dr. Drane a deep understanding of people, including how nationalities, cultures, and lifestyle can effect our understanding of each other. Dr. Drane treats every patient as an individual and will make sure you understand and agree to anything she thinks you need for the optimum treatment.

During this period, while traveling without easy access to healthcare, Dr. Gail had to make sure she could take care of her family in any situation. This is when her interest in alternative healthcare was piqued and her education began. She understands first hand why you are seeking alternative medicine and will do all in her power to help you obtain the outcome you seek.

There is only one thing in Dr. Gail’s life that exceeds her desire to help people on their healing journey and that is being a mother and grandmother. Gail’s daughter is now the mother of two beautiful children (as are all children) and Gail derives such pleasure in being a part of their life.
